    1. For my education, can you please be specific on what you see? I am learning here. :- )
    2. Badges... This doctor had jump qualifications. I did not know that the Air Force had paratroopers, but I learn new things all of the time.
    3. Does anyone know why the BGS retained the WW2 style of helmet, where the armed forces adopted the more American patterns?
    4. The image is very small. Are there any numbers on the backs of the buttons?
    5. While not a spectacular group in the eyes of most, I really like it. I have not seen a WW2 Labor Victory medal mounted on a bar before. I love it.
    6. My thoughts are that this first one is a reproduction as well. I would be very uncomfortable with it in my collection.
    7. Does it get into the details? What were the circumstances? Was it while at sea or on liberty?
    8. Here is a very interesting ribbon bar that I bought from Paul Schmitt. It has the Victory over Japan, Victory over Germany, and Defense of the Caucasus.
    9. Now that is amazing!! I have never seen such a low numbered order. I cannot verify the authenticity, but I am impressed! I wonder what amazing things the Senior Captains did to earn this distinction, reserved for more senior officers.
    10. Those are AMAZING!! The early suspension types are very rare. I do have a rare version on hold, with an "8" stamped on one of the star rays. I cannot wait to get it here, and share it with you.
    11. Thanks for clearing that up. Is there any clue as to the number of these awarded?
    12. Beautiful!!! What other medals and orders were presented to him during his time in service?
    13. I picked this set up from Paul Schmitt a month or so ago. The only missing thing is the Victory over Germany medal, which is an easy fix. Another research project!!
    14. Here are some more LW Regimentally numbered shoulder straps from a trade.
    15. Here is a comparison with an earlier M58 version- Green/Red medical colors.
    16. Here is an awesome uniform grouping to an Afghan Veteran. It is a medical officer with the Soviet Air Force. Notice that there is no specific color for the medical branch in the Air Force.
    17. As far as I know, it is a paper only award(certificate). It was approved too late into the war for production to begin.
