    1. I have not seen one of these post war summer uniforms before. Are they made of the same type of material as the wartime examples. They look a bit heavier from here.
    2. Now that is a beautiful banner. The detail work on these are nothing short of amazing! Thank you for sharing it.
    3. Those are some beautiful examples. Any of them documented or researched yet?
    4. Hi Larry... No real significance, other than it was REALLY inexpensive!
    5. I thought that I shared this with you all already, but I cannot find the thread. Here are some cool Volunteer Fire Police insignia I found a few weeks ago. While not LW, it can be classified as Luftschutz related.
    6. Hi Marc, Please show some shots of the inside. :- ) Thank you again for showing us your treasures.
    7. The shadow looks like a LW eage. As far as I know, there is no WW2 visor configuration like this. It has been almost 70 years since the war's end... plenty of time for shadows like that to form from collector made modifications.
    8. This is the first summer Polizei hat I have seen. Thanks for posting it. I like how it is piped.
    9. Thank you. I just do not remember seeing the colored insignia in the Saddam era slides.
    10. Thank you. I have a received a lot more shoulder slides since this photo, including a few sets from the Navy.
    11. Thank you for the compliment. I would love to see your items! Welcome to the forum!
    12. For me, this is what collecting is all about. This is the militaria is really something special. Thank you for taking the time to post it and thanks to Ferdinand for your time in translating the documents.
    13. Does anyone have such a grouping or attributed order/medal to a sniper?
    14. Dan, What an awesome example of a long service ORB. Very pristine example. Thank you for sharing it with us. Paul
    15. Thanks Frank. Is this a valor award? It is a beautiful piece. Thank you very much for posting it.
    16. Thanks for sharing your examples. What type of tress is in there? The metallic or subdued version?
    17. Thanks Achern, I would love to find one unquestionable example of the Field Marshal's slides.
    18. Thanks guys. I think that I will swing by and pick this up. The jacket comes with a set of trousers. For headgear, did all EMs wear berets? The tunic above does have two belt hooks installed in the sides. I will want to get a belt for it. I like how the ribbon bars are attached to the tunic. The tunic and trousers above are marked for 59 dollars. I will see if I can haggle with the vendor.
    19. That is a really nice uniform. Does it have any tags? Any signs of mini medals being worn on it?
