    1. Thanks for that. I will research the logistics corps insignia. I notice that there are some belt hooks on the sides of the jacket. What type of belt would be worn with this uniform? Is this a current issue uniform? How long does it normally take for a soldier to obtain the ranking of Staff Sargeant in the Royal Army?
    2. Thank you very much. I love these type of items, with a known history. If you ask me, these are the best items to have. I am envious. I look forward to seeing the other items in this set!
    3. Thank you Jonas. They had another tunic with the General Service Medal(?- Green and purple ribbon... I was told that folks stationed in Ireland were awarded this). It also had the loops above the ribbon bar. Here is a bigger pic of the button.
    4. This awesome beret came with the tunic I showed earlier. It is mint and unissued. It still has the tag inside!
    5. I was rummaging through the local surplus store and came across a few nice British Uniforms. I like this one the best. 1. What is the rank? Sargeant Major? 2. What are the ribbons? 3. Why are there loops above the ribbon bar? 4. Notice the emblem on the buttons. What does it represent? 5. What should go on the collar? 6. What is the fair market price of this set(trousers included)?`
    6. Wow!! I hope that you are able to get some background information on this person! Can you please show the rest of the uniform?
    7. That is a beautiful piece of history there. Can you please share some background information on this officer? What years did he serve? I am surprised that he was only a Captain at retirement, unless he has some prior time as an enlistedman?
    8. Another great set picked up from Bill Dienna. I absolutely love it. There is even a pinchful of tobacco(Cigarette or pipe) in the inside pocket!
    9. I picked this up a few weeks ago. It is a complete set belonging to a medical officer. I love the carmine branch colors. If you notice, the hat and the riding trousers are all piped in this color. I love this set.
    10. That is a perfect jacket. Elongated sew in shoulder straps were made for these overcoats. They look the same as the regular straps, but longer.
    11. I found this gem on Ebay and won it for a fair price. Volunteer Fire Fighting insignia are not easy to find at all. I hope that you enjoy seeing them. Regards Paul
    12. Here is a very nice set(not a real set, as the eagles are facing a the same direction) of pre 2003 Iraqi Col-Gen shoulder slides. These are unquestionable early originals, made by the Iraqi Sewing Company(thanks for the information Scott G.). I am very happy with them!

    14. Here are some of the inscriptions made by her shipmates. These signatures usually were entered into the books by fellow training company recruits upon graduation from bootcamp. When I went through, we did the same sort of thing on our Sea-Bags.
    15. Here is the person whom the book was issued during boot camp.
    16. Here is a great book that I won on Ebay a while back. It is for a member of the Coast Guard Women's Reserve (SPAR) during WW2. This book is really great in that it is signed by her shipmates whom she went through bootcamp with. This is the book issued to personnel when the enter boot camp with the Coast Guard. I think that the Navy and the Coast Guard shared the same Blue Jacket Manual during WW2.
    17. Here is another great ebay find!! It was awaiting upon my return!
    18. I am not a fan of this decal at all. Helmets are not my focus, but this decal does not match any of the originals I have seen in the past. The color and details seem a bit off to me.
    19. I feel that much better/clearer images are needed. I am not a fan of what I see thus far.
    20. I really love seeing these Colanis. It is the first ordnance Petty Officer I have seen. Congrats! Lets see the internal markings.
