    1. Is this the one you are referring to? If so, the are not so common but not really all that rare either. They still fetch a moderate price(about 100 dollars for a single).
    2. Nice ones!! I have never seen another DDR Paratrooper tunic with the parade bars! That is a top shelf piece, in my opinion!
    3. There is a green set of tabs with a pink piping that are listed in Angolia's publication as being HG Panzerjager. Is this what you are talking about? Hardy, Thank you for sharing that outstanding photo! I just wish that color photography was actively used 10 years earlier!
    4. Now that is cool!!! I have never heard of this firm. Do you have any information on this organization?
    5. Welcome!!! Here is my contribution! They belonged to my great grandfather!
    6. Luftwaffe Administration Official, Medium Level, Oberfeldwebel equivalent. The exact speciality and rank terminology is unknown because the nebenfarbe(color of the center layer of the shoulder board) is unknown.
    7. That is my thought, for the first photo. In 1944, members of the Luftwaffe Fire Dept(uniformed civilians) were allowed to become legitimate officials. This is the first such uniform I have ever seen! These men did not fly, but they were attached to Luftwaffe facilities. Notice that the uniform is the basic uniform for the LW FD(except for the visor, which was altered by the placement of regular LW cocade and eagle), with the old collar tabs and shoulder straps removed and the Sonderfuhrer types placed.
    8. He looks like a Luftwaffe Firefighting official(post 1944?)! VERY VERY VERY rare! I have never seen another photo! Talk about one of a kind!
    9. Bob!!! That is an amazing visor in impecable condition!! I always enjoy seeing your treasures!
    10. Talk about good timing!! I am able to be here without issues for the next few days. Yes, the piping around the collar tabs is rose pink, which is also the branch color of the Luftwaffe Aeronautical Engineer Corps. In the case of the HG Division, the rose pink color is used to indicate panzer and Division staff personnel. Welcome to the GMIC and I sincerely look forward to seeing your collection! If you would like, please post individual pieces for discussion as well. My presence as of Monday will be sporatic for the next three years, due to mission requirements of my new unit. We are here to learn from one another and I am personally excited to see new things!
    11. Amazing work!! :speechless1:
    12. This railroad display is the best I have seen!!!! I thought that I had seen just about everything...
    13. Great collection of medals guys!! One day, I will have to get around to posting mine. :jumping:
    14. Bill, what a super grouping!! This is one of the better ones I have seen in a while. I look forward to seeing the results, if you decide to research the OPW. Paul
    15. Thank you for displaying your treasures for us!! I always look forward to seeing your postings. Your displays are amazing!
    16. Thanks Bob!! Coming from you, the compliment really means a lot! It is difficult that find a LW reference that does not have your name in the acknowledgements. I hope that you have been doing well!
