      Hi Lorenzo, Thank you for your kind words. The flag is a very special piece to me. I am curious as to why there are not many of these about? I have only seen about 3 other bona-fide flags brought back, that were not ones made specifically for "tourists". I look forward to seeing your treasures here! Thank you again. Paul

      That is a great piece of insignia, most of all because it came from the initial veteran. Tropical insignia is not common and tends to be very expensive when compared to the continental blue-gray uniform insignia.

      Here is the best image I can get of the officer in the back... notice the regular LW style tabs. This portion of the photo is blown up by 600%. It is an early photo because of the presence of collar tabs on the overcoat and the crossbelt.

      Not a problem. I will make the enlargments tonight. I was able to get a good scan of the collar tabs on the Officer in the back. They seem to be the normal type for a LW Leutnant.
