    3. Thanks Gene! Please scan them!!! That means there is hope for finding such a tunic!
    4. No problem Micha I would love to see your entire LS collection posted! It is definately an under appreciated area! Do you have any tunics or insignia? All I have is a bevo breast "eagle"! Paul
    5. Here is an interesting captured LS helmet! I have never seen a Dutch Captured example! Warm regards Paul http://www.germanmilitaria.com/Luftwaffe/photos/L17854.html
    6. Thank you. Simon! That would definately make sense! A dealer friend of mine emailed the following: According to Angolia's Luft. vol 1, pg. 371, Luft. NCO 's and enlisted wore Crimson (carmine) waffenfarb. The same as General Staff officers. No mention is made of officer waffenfarb for vet. units. Good talking to you today. If that is the case, I then have a new dream tunic!! Has anyone ever seen one of these tunics? Warm regards PAul
    7. Good Afternoon! As most of you might know, I collect mainly LW uniforms and medical uniforms from all branches. Now the big question... Is there such thing as a Luftwaffe Veterinarian(that utilizes the carmine waffenfarbe like the Heer)? If so, my quest will be to find such a tunic. Any insight will be greatly appreciated! Warm regards Paul
    8. He would have had to have been a combatant in WW2 to get the clasp. That is they way I understand it anyway~ Warm regards Paul
    9. That is the most eccentric camo pattern I have seen! Very nice Saddam Youth set! Paul
    10. Jason, Beautiful bars! I love that medic's bar(BTW, why does the Hindenburg Cross have swords?)!! Hi Rick. Why is the KVM medal so difficult to find on bars? I thought that it was the most common medal awarded! Best regards Paul
    11. Nice collection indeed! How difficult are the War Wounded badges to find these days? V/r Paul Reck
    12. No problem with the pics, Marcus! I love it and I dont even own it!! It looks like it was issued yesterday!
    13. I, personally, would love to see that report... Yet how nice is "really" nice LOL So how would he have received the Blockade Runner badge? This inheritance is so full of history! I wonder if he would have met personalities such as Adm Donitz? All I can say is WOW This is worthy of a thread of it's own! Regards Paul
    14. Highly decorated and a doctor to top it off!!! Very nice! What button hole awards does he have? I do see an EK2. What is the other? Where all was he stationed during the war? Did he stay in the military after the war? Please tell us all you can about him! Where and how was he wounded? Did he survive the war? What else did you get with this phenominal grouping? Can you please post a frontal shot of the tunic? I apologize for all of the questions... But inquiring minds want to know(at least mine!) Best regards Paul
    15. Those are awesome, Rick! I especially like the olympic set!

    19. Don, Thank you for the ID. I had no clue! Hi Frank. Great to see you here!!! I will do so this afternoon. I finally have a scanner which means sharper pics... How do I enlarge the photo on a scanner? Best regards Paul
    20. I know... now I did give instructions that the items were to be held in place by pins instead of glue. At least the medals are intact. I will try and find a way into the box without damaging it. I can see about taking clearer photos as well. Thank you for your patience.
    21. Beautiful bar. I have one with the same configuration! Definately a nice Western Front set!
