    3. From everything I have read about him, he seems to have been one of the more noble TR personalities. I am sure that he will be missed by friends and historians alike.
    4. I see that he has the imperial pilots badge. I also read that he has the Pour Le Merite. Does anyone else know of his other decorations?
    5. I have never even heard of a Commander's version. Do you know what it looks like?
    6. That is a great medal. It is one of the favorites in my collection. It is great to you still have the packet. Yours and mine are the only packets I have seen.
    7. Can you list out the medals? I am not familiar with Australian medals.
    8. That is a great photo!! Thanks for posting it! I have never heard of him before. Do you have any information about him to share?
    9. Thanks for posting this book... I thought that I read somewhere that they stopped running troops through the jump course in 1944. If this is true(Fj experts help!), that would explain the lack of an Fj badge. I look forward to hearing the voices of the more experienced!
    10. Thanks Nesredep. I like it too! Are there any more LW Admin items out there? Lets keep them coming!
    11. This has been a fascinating read! I see that he is an officer as well. Is there anything written on the back?
    12. Congratulations!! You did really well. How did you do it? Most I see on Ebay end up at about 40 dollars or more!
    13. Thanks for another great photo. That must have been one huge car bomb!
    14. Thanks for sharing all of these great photos. What country are those silk Iraqi flags made in?
    15. That is a wonderful collection. Thank you for sharing it with us. Who is that portrait of? Ed, what is Sprink's reason for not wanting to share this basic information?
    16. Oh my God Ed. I would love to take a walk through your collection room. I am sure that I could look for days and not see it all. I am floored!!
    17. I am in love, Ed. I think that I found a new secondary focus!! These medals and orders are amazing. You definitely have my attention here. I shudder to think what happened to the recipients of these awards after the Soviet pull out.
    18. Congrats on such a pristine piece Vince! As said earlier, this and the Flak badge are the only two bona fide LW Combat badges. This is actually my favorite LW badge!
    19. Those are the first awards from Soviet Afghanistan I have ever seen. Are there any medals in your collection?
    20. It looks like the man walked home from France upon the surrender, in that tunic! Maybe it did some time in a POW internment camp? Here are the repaired elbows! It has loops for a small ribbon bar as well. I think that a crusty 1914 EK2 and an HK would go on nicely!
