    7. I have just received these ribbon bars from the guru of bars himself! Also, I wish to thank Rick Research for helping me to identify some of these bars!! The first one consists of the 1914 EK2, Saxon War Effort Cross(with unauthorized attachment), Lippe Detmold War Merit Cross, and the Hamburg Hanseatic Cross. My question is who, why, and when was the laural clasp applied to this Saxon Ribbon?
    8. Hi Pikestaff, Those EM tabs do look pretty bad! I have seen re-enactor's tabs that look a lot more convincing. Avitas, Those tabs are 100% real. They are for the ranks of Major-Oberst(actual rank was reflected on the shoulder boards.) in the East German Air Force. The the DDR Air Force only used the one waffenfarbe for everyone. Here are some examples of them on some uniforms: http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?s=&showtopic=2...indpost&p=21426
    9. Dan, I love your collection of KVKs! They are actually one of my favorite awards! The replica KVKs seem to be very accurate! Paul

    13. Very interesting Dan! I have never seen a sheet metal version before! Paul
    14. Here is documentation that relects that the waffenfarbe was used for Veterinarian(EMs and NCOs). This information comes from Vol 2 of Angolia's Uniforms and Traditions of the Luftwaffe.
