near Paris, approximatively in 2000 I believe, because I paid it 400 french francs, so 60 euros. The guy didn't knew what he sold, it was coming from the family. How lucky I was! But I was surely the only guy in this militaria fair to know what was this order... -
Czechoslovakia Czech Order of Red Star
seb16trs replied to censlenov's topic in Central & Eastern European States
this is an order of the red star of labor, CSSR issue (from sixties to 1989). With its box, 100 euros is a correct price in Europe, a bit "steep" at 150 euros. -

seb16trs replied to Ed_Haynes's topic in Russia: Soviet Orders, Medals & Decorations
thanks for being vigilant Ed still playin' ! welcome back in the endless world of soviet badges... 184 and 157the divisions badges are known in the Schmitt, are are nearly twins... but here's a nice red background variation for the 157the division... -
more funny... an unknown lenin badge, found in a veteran badges group... I believe the suspension is not original... but what is this badge? neither price nor mintmark, no inscription... veteran unit? youth organisation? fancy leninania? many thanks for yours opinions!

good evening gentlemen, I borrow this identification topic in order not to fill up the forum with thousands of diverse identifications... here're two enigmas I'd like to expose to your sagacity. first, an unknown order box; made of cardboard, synthetic vinyl a bit like the hungarian one. I don't think it is soviet-made. I bought it with a small set of soviet badges and it came from Germany.

Yugoslavia Is This A POSSIBLE Yugoslav Group?
seb16trs replied to seb16trs's topic in Southern European & Balkan States
I found such a name in a communist-yougoslavia dedicated croat forum; they were quotingan official book of the period. Maybe a person who hosted partisans in Zagreb, and helped networks between Slovenia and Croatia. But the probability of homonym is extremly high. :catjava: -

hello, it seems the ring has never been in its place... the ribon is absolutely not used or marked... I don't know what could be the best hypothesis to explain this case. here's the box: -

close-up: Brotherhood and Merit are silver-type and hallmarked; the Bravery order is a nice ZIN type. -

finally, I went across the Rubicon. And I saved a group from (another?) split. It came from the recent San Giorgio auction, being divided into 3 lots. By chance, nobody saw nor gave interest to the diplomas, giving the same woman as an awardee. Thanks to Mr. Calabrezi , I tried th purchase. I don't think it is a bad thing; everything seems to be coherent. -
there's a problem with the upper end of the soyombo flame and with the medal ring... no wear and sucha deformed ring??? That doesn't look like Mondovr job.

you're welcome Ed, the field of mongolian uniforms is not documented and we must rely on empiric collections. I have the feeling that shoulderboards have the same "zigzag" metallic thread basis than soviet ones. Then they added the "greek" scheme embroidery. There are great chances they were produced in soviet workshops. Not any tailor marks inside?
