    1. Thanks a lot! Came from IR 21 and finished as 1st Lt. The HOH3X was gazetted 24.10.1918 - nearly 2 monthes after the award! Greetings Daniel
    2. First name Wojciech, born 6th of July 1923, still alive. Ribbons....all across Poland and Soviet Union...better pic would help. Greetings Daniel
    3. Ahhh, this one!!! His Reichsheer Entry says WF3bX instead of the correct WF3aX. Last time I find hm is 1932 as Major in the 2. Sanitätsabteilung!!! Had additional KO4, HOH3X, VAs, FlgErinn, MMV2 Greetings Daniel
    4. I just know that he got a Württemberg knight 1st class with swords of the Frederick Order 05th September 1916 Greetings Daniel
    5. Ahhh! Nice one!!! I assume the last ribbon shall represent his Coburg Jubilee Medal, maybe the outfitter did not have the right ribbon, so he took a normal House Order ribbon. Greetings Daniel
    6. ...now as well 2 cents from me. There are all quite common awards on the bar - "rarest" is the HOH3X with 8000+ awards - , but as Rick already stated, it is the combo of "what is there and what is not there" which makes the ID. Beside of the Bavarian IR 21 - and our guy here is everything else but no Bavarian - there were LESS THAN 100 combo´s BMV4X - MMV!!! All other guys could be eliminated for having other awards, died before 1934... Best regards Daniel
    7. Guten Abend, Herr Feldwebel! Niiice bar!!Congratulations! That is a perfect example that with the right sources and knowledge even "simple" mortal NCOs bars can be IDd. Greetings Daniel
    8. Niice pic and I assume it is a meeting of former Members of FAR 65. Guy number 1 is GenMaj a.D. Karl Ludwig Lang, he retired as Col and CO of FAR 65 long before WW1 ans was recalled as Cdr POW-Camp Rastatt, finally promoted to GenMaj. Awards: RAO4, KO2, EK2 70, DA, BZ2b, BZ3bX, BrH3a, HP3a, WK2c, WF3a born 1850, died 1926 Greetings Daniel P.S. is it possible to get a good scan of Lang?
    9. 1st pic: Unruh, Walter v. 1914 H IR 124, MiG 4.RK, 1925 O 20.IR, 1942 GdI KVKRKX, DKiS, plm, HOH3X, EK1Sp, Joh, DA, BMV3X, HH, HT, SA3aX, GSF3aX, SW, WM3, ÖL3K, ÖEK3K, ÖM3Kg, TH, Vas Greetings Daniel

    11. Hi frends, first of all thanks to all of You who could give me additional info for my project. To give You an overview, here some actual numbers: Grand Commander Stars 7 Grand Commanders 20 Commander Stars 20 Commanders 46 Knights 7612 (Willi Geile´s old roll had 7233) Bearers cross 18 Best regards Daniel
    12. Hi Friends, with my very own experience... You can publish in Germany as much as You want. No deal. It is "just" a question of money and time. If You want the "full program" with ISBN number and so on You need to do some paperwork, pay the fees and "donate" a couple of books to some libraries. It is much easier if You have a "real" publisher on Your side. But do not forget one point. If You want to make money with writuing, forget Orders and Decorations, write novels Best regards Daniel
    13. ?hemmm... if that funny little sword belongs to the group.... There was a HdL Jordan who got the HOH3X and a HdR Jordan who got the SEK3X, MAYBE it is the same and the Schwarzburg guys put in the wrong rank in the roll. Greetings Daniel
    14. Beside of Schreck, only 2 other Officers come in question: Adam, no first name, or Otto Wolff, both SEK3X as OLtdR in IR 71, both MAYBE HOH3X as Hptm dR, both hab as well LD2 peacetime. Best regards Daniel
    15. Actually, In WW2 it was forbidden to wear enemies awards. Everybody can read that in the "Doehle". In WW1 it was never forbidden. There was just an order of Willy the 2nd to remove enemies rulers monogramm cyphers from the shoulderboards of the regiments which they "owned" before WW1. Best regards Daniel
    16. sure it was only awarded on an ORDERS ribbon?? See here some details from the medals of Emil Ruth, Bandmaster of the Gardek?rassierregiment. Greetings Daniel
    17. Hi, I know that bar as well. From where do You know that Eckstein had a Hansa cross? I would assume, tha it IS Ecksteins bar and the WM3 (replaced an earlier awarded WgM) was replaced by whatever Moron by a WsM. Best regards Daniel
    18. fascinating pic!!!!! That guy did not make General. I checked all and nobody fits. I would guess he retired as half- or full colonel and went in some Brunswick connection, maybe Kammerherr or so. The Lion Grand Commander indicates a rank equivalent of MajGen or Rat 1.Klasse. Brunswick court and state handbooks might ID him. Best regards Daniel
    19. Good! Thuringian is Werner Baron Ascheberg - his IMPRESSIVE Ernestinian Dec. can be found in the rolls Obviously he had 2 bars to his CM2X which are not listed in the Roll. HOH3X, VAs, EH3bX, CK, CM2X, BMO4 - which appears to be a BT4b - mistake in the Ranklists!!!! 1892-1968 The other one is later LtGen Helmut Beukemann EKRK, DKiG, HOH3X, BrK1, BrK2a, HH, WHDA1, InfSt, VAs, BulgInf, JsTM 1894-1981 Reichsheer guys are SOOO easy. Greetings Daniel
