    2. I forgot about your question regarding the Soviet Equivalent of the Iron Cross. That would depend on which Class of the EK. An EK 1st Class may be the equivalent of the Order of the Red Star (See my Avatar). An EK 2nd Class would probably equate to the Medal for Combat Service or the Medal for Valor. I hope this helps.     14. Russian Customs are a tough bunch. I bought a rare transitional Air force captains Parade uniform from a member of another forum. He shipped it and customs returned it to him because the cap had a 1953 date in it. They said it was an invaluable item. He's now shipped the pants and jacket in seperate packages from Russia and took the cap with him to Paris where he'll try to mail it from there. Russsian Customs agents are very anal. Doc

    20. Dan, I also have the 2nd - 5th classes of Polands Order of Polonia Restituta. After a year or two of searching I should have the Grand cross set this summer. A friend is going to Europe and said that he has posibly found one for me I'll post'em as I get 'em!!! Doc
