    4. A friend has asked me to try and identify this signature for him and I am currently stuck on it, I can not even identify the first letter. Is it an A, F or something else? It is signed on behalf of GdA Wiktorin and there is a chance it could be a Luftwaffe Generalleutnant and I am basing that solely on not being able to find a Heer name in my books and files that might fit. So could be Heer but could be Luftwaffe.

    8. I have no idea I'm afraid although I suppose you could say it is both.
    9. Nothing wrong with bringing an older topic back to the fore again, especially with the nice examples shown.
    10. A Narvik related Soldbuch is this one to a sailor who served on one of the destroyers and was wounded during the battle. Unfortunately as the Kriegsmarine didn't start issuing SB until June 1941, and by then this sailor was serving on Z-23, it isn't possible to identify what destroyer he was on during the battle. As far as I can find out there are no casualty lists for the ships involved that actually name those wounded. It comes with a colourised image with the cap band having an emblem on it but I haven't been able to identify it to see if it helps narrow down the possibilities.

    20. Time for another big thank you to everyone that has ever contributed to the Germany All Eras: Signature Database over the last 7 years, from established members to the very latest newcomers. This weekend we hit the incredible figure of 900 individual names entered (some of whom have multiple examples of their signatures in their entry) which proves just how generous the members are in providing the time and effort to add what they have. Every single addition has been a positive benefit both to the database and the forum and long may it continue. Once again, thank you one and all. Signature Database Index
