    1. Hi Chris! Glad to see you here! Hope you´ll have a lot of fun here. See you next time in Gelsenkirchen Andreas
    2. Hi Chris! That´s possible. But I think more, the "Sch".could the initials of a Freikorps-leader. The RW-Inf.Rgt.46 was set-up by soldiers of the the following Freikorps: Bamberg, Eiserne Schar Berthold and Bayreuth
    3. Hello gentlmen! By the way... I still need help in ID of this nice machine gun badge. Inside I can read "Sch". As far I can recognize the shoulder strap, the unit probably is the 4th bavarian Reichswehr-Inf.Rgt.46. But what does "Sch" mean? Thank you very much in advance
    4. Hello gentlmen! By the way... I still need help in ID of this nice machine gun badge. Inside I can read "Sch". Thank you very much in advance
    5. Does someone have infos about turkish collar badges? I am also looking for a book about turkish uniforms during wwI. Please have a look at the photo. Are the collar signs old-arabic numbers?
    6. Hello! It´s nice one! By the way, the unit is the Fußartillerie-Bataillon Nr.110. The bataillon was set up by the Fußartillerie-Regiment Nr.5 and was later under command of the Fußart.Rgt.25 and at the end of war under command of the 18.army. Armed with: 1. long howitzer 13 2. long howitzer 13 3. heavy fied-howitzer 02
    7. Hi AlecH! That makes sense about the crowned EW. But did you ask him, he if knows, which one was in the 20.000 pieces stock? I think, that question is similar to the question, what happens after death... No one seems to know...
    8. Yes, he did. In the "Ehrenrangliste", I´ve read, that he used to be Major in the Reichswehr, but I didn´t find him in the oct. 1920 Rangliets. Maybe, he served in a different regiment, but the IR17 (the traditional regiment of the 92), or he left the army before oct. 1920
    9. Hello! I also got this photo with a view out of a submarine to the french coast of Villerville (Le Havre)
    10. I recieved this wonderful photo, where you can se the GOEBEN and BRESLAU in the Bosporus. Alsmost under turkish flag
    11. Hello! I wantr to show you two photos of my artillery collection. The first is detailed-photo of a 105mm Felfhaubitze and the other one a nice pic of a 149mm Kanone. Note the plates "S.F." (Sonderformationen zur Verfügung der O.H.L.) - special-formation for the OHL´s disposition
    12. Hello Charles! I think he is captain on the 2nd photo. Difficulty to see. Because of the decorations, one could recognize him. Here is my small collection of the IR92.
    13. Hello gentlemen! I´ve got this nice post-war photo, probably 1919. But I haven´t seen such a shoulder strap. I can recognize an "L"(or maybe an "E") and a crown. Unfortunately the reverse is blank Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
    14. Alpenkorps1915: Haven´t the book Krafft never been published? Chris: Of course, that´s a possibility. So we could collect every single EW we can find, hoping to get sometimes a "proof-photo". That´s the way I do.
    15. If I were in Munich, I should take my lorry with me to take away all the papers I´d like to read... But I´ve never been there About the EW with the crown, I agree with you. The only thing, I´ve read about it, is i n the "Katalog der Uniformabzeichen der deutschen Freikorps", under "Freikorps Oberland". There ain´t no photo, but two photos of normally EWs with the text: "Abzeichen der Kompanie Oestreicher (ohne Krone)" (without crown). But I don´t know what that means according to the EW
    16. Unfortunately I haven´t recieved any new informations about his unit after he left the 155. Maybe someone of you has any new recources to check, please?
