It should be also noted we have a As I stated earlier (but strangely the post seems to have been deleted with no reason being given) I agree with Gordon's assessment of the piece. However, the broach hinge, pin and clasp HAVE to have been added after the item was bought and converted for use as a broach / badge. (As shown by the letter "G" in the word "Erinerung") This will affect the desirability amongst the purists but it still falls into the "Patriotika" range of Items. And items like this tend to attract there own branch of collectors. This item should be perfectly sell-able on the www.net as it shows no "offensive" symbols. Kevin in Deva. -
I will be going back to Cluj-Napoca take individual pictures of each of the headstones / markers sometime in the near future, while there this time I started to catalogue the Romanian - Hungarian - and German Headstones. I also took pictures of the monument to the "Heroes of the 1989 Revolution" Monument and the 15 victims gravestones: + "May they Rest In Peace." + Kevin in Deva.

Hallo Gentlemen As a means to keeping this a balanced thread, I will post some pictures here taken (January 12th 2008) in the Military Section of the "HERO'S CEMETERY" located in the Romanian Town of Cluj-Napoca of the SOVIET SECTION. The Russian section is located on a slight rise to the left of the entrance gates, preceding this are sections with Romanian, German and Hungarian graves of WW2 as well as the graves of people killed in the 1989 Revolution. Hallo Gents I do not like the "veins" on the swastika's arms, a piece which surly would never have passed the R.Z.M. Quality Control ?? Kevin in Deva. -

Kev in Deva replied to Chris Boonzaier's topic in Great Britain: Orders, Gallantry, Campaign Medals
Dear Ed Maroli, why would you take pleasure in such a theft of museum property and as such the history in these pieces being removed. Better yet why have you not reported this if you know it is taking place Kevin in Deva.
