    5. Hallo Paul If that were the case, then I think it should show in other parts of the item as well. Anybody got any idea what the green "paint" blobs actually is?? Kevin in Deva.
    6. It should be also noted we have a As I stated earlier (but strangely the post seems to have been deleted with no reason being given) I agree with Gordon's assessment of the piece. However, the broach hinge, pin and clasp HAVE to have been added after the item was bought and converted for use as a broach / badge. (As shown by the letter "G" in the word "Erinerung") This will affect the desirability amongst the purists but it still falls into the "Patriotika" range of Items. And items like this tend to attract there own branch of collectors. This item should be perfectly sell-able on the www.net as it shows no "offensive" symbols. Kevin in Deva.

    12. This monument with the tank seems to commemorate members of the Soviet Tank Corps killed in th fighting in the area of Cluj-Napoca. These other markers I suspect were for the "poor bloody infantry" Kevin in Deva
    13. Left side panel with names of the Fallen, Too much frozen snow to see the lower names clearly, but I intend to go back to document more headstones so will re-take the picture for better detail. Kevin in Deva
