Hauptmann Posted August 23, 2006 Author Posted August 23, 2006 I used to have one of those posters as well... My ex tossed it during one of our moves. It is nice to know that Igor still carries them.PaulHi Paul,Do you happen to have a link to them? Might be better than getting them reprinted depending on the price. Thanks! Dan
Paul R Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 I think that Igor will have them...www.collectrussia.com
Riley1965 Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 One question that I've been meaning to ask for a long time...Why are 1985 OPWs unresearchable? Doc
Paul R Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 That is a good question. I THINK I know that one, yet I will wait for a more experienced member to respond. I think that ALL serving WW2 participants were issued either one of the other.
ehrentitle Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 Kevin,I love those posters! How difficult are they to find?PaulPaul - I have no idea how hard they are to find now. I had a Soviet/East German collector friend who was a WO in the 7th Intel Co who sent them to me in the late 80s. I have many more, including english translation of the medals poster. But they are burried deep in the garage and so not immediately available. Kevin
ehrentitle Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 (edited) Another Soviet Orders and Medals book I stumbled across tonight - Dated 1983, has color plates of medals in the back - Edited August 23, 2006 by ehrentitle
