    Being an ex Infantryman (2eme R.E.I.) I collect all German WW1 EXCEPT Mounted units ;-)

    But it really is very very nice to see such a collection.

    Must have taken a lot of patience to put it together....

    I remember a fight in a bar in marseille, a legionnaire did the traditional thing if squeezing the red pom-pom on a French sailors hat......

    I wonder if Infantry in 1914 tried to balance things on the Uhlanans flat tops ;-)

    Do you only do headgear or documents as well?

    Thanks Chris. Yes it's something like patince and it never ends up. I also collect some documents and especially a few old post cards or pictures showing prussian Uhlans... it could be the thema of others topics soon.
