Julius was Ratschreiber in Ittersbach after the war and died in 1929. My father was born in 1923, he could hardly remember his father. Most of the material I got from the Badisches Landesarchiv in Karlsruhe. I do remember seeing Julius' Milit?rpass and some award documents at home, but that is a long time ago - who knows where the documents are now (hopefully not destroyed - maybe in one of your collections). Did you ever get to meet them?Paul; I have a few things, like his watch and some of his books and my Grandmother's jewelry - I remember my Gandmother vaguely (she died when I was three).
