Guest Rick Research
Yes, but on the wrong ribbon.Ribbon for combat service =There were about 65,000 of those with the dark blue ribbon with red stripes. The noncombatant version (about 2,000) had the ribbon colors reversed---> red with dark blue stripes.

saschaw
Has Baden colors. But isn't Baden. May be something from Mecklenburg. But in the end, it doesn't even matter. It's a nice and genuine Oldenburg Freidrich August cross - on a not matching ribbon. Edited March 12, 2007 by saschaw

Roeland
it indeed is an original Oldenburg Freidrich August kreuz zweiter klasse (war merit cross 2nd class), on a Lippe War merit cross ribbon, the ribbon is missing it's white borders as Solomon noticed. This disappeared in an old wooden box sold in a specialty store of a true gun of Europe. I purchased only this. I bought it without understanding. Thank you! !
