Guest Rick Research
See? I told you a close up of the pinbacks would identify him. You need a nice EPSON scanner to make nice big clear scans all at once.

Glenn J
VJ,the commandant of Truppen?bungsplatz Senne was Oberstleutnant Heinz v. Uechtritz und Steinkirch. If memory serves me right, the unfortunate colonel accidentally drowned in a pond in Sennelager camp.Regards from SennelagerGlenn

Guest Rick Research
#166 is driving me crazy--the ONLY regimental officer I can find with PLM, OK1, AND MK1 was Otto Karl Hans Freiherr von Brandenstein (1865-1945) who was in Hessian Life Dragoons Regiment 23 in 1914 (with LITZEN), Pour le Merite 15.5.18 as the cavalry brigade commander in Finland... Generalmajor 18.10.18 and char Generalleutnant aD as a PLM holder on Tannenbergtag in 1939.But no collar Litzen! Nobody else! :banger:
