Hi,

If you have a look to all the pictures of that thread, you will see few others showing the breast star to "Merito en Campa?a" worn by German former members of the LC.

I guess that around 1000 german soldiers were awarded this high spanish decoration.

Thanks. I?ve pics from Spanish Pilots at the "Blue Squadron" (Escuadrilla azul), wearing his "Merito en campa?a" Breast star, but not luftwaffe german members...

Ha! I thought the exact same thing when I saw the photo. Would love to see a sharp close-up of his ribbon bar - he looks to have 6 non-German awards (we know at least one is the Spanish Campaign medal...)
