Richard Gordon Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 Knocked up a few photos today, experimenting with depth of field and was pleased with this one.Let's see if I can keep it consistent!

J Temple-West Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 We could start a ?Picture of the month? competition but with work of this quality.... would the rest of us have a chance of winning? Rich.
Jan Arne S Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 Hi Rich. !Great photo You have made ! What type of Camera do You use ? Jan Arne
Richard Gordon Posted June 26, 2008 Author Posted June 26, 2008 Barry/J T-W/Jan ArneThanks for the comments. I don't know why but the pic on my PC is much sharper. It must get compressed when uploaded or something. My camera is old-hat these days, a 4Mp Olympus. I don't think the age of the camera matters that much, more the flexibility it allows and the users ability/understanding of how to use it. To be honest, it's often luck on my part. I have an idea of how to get what I want but it often involves many attempts at lighting and settings!Rich
Richard Gordon Posted June 26, 2008 Author Posted June 26, 2008 ScottYes and no. It's in a photo-box and taken during the day near a window but there is also a small lamp to the right to give a little bit extra.Rich
