Motorhead Posted December 3, 2005 Author Posted December 3, 2005 And the reverse-I think it's a piece from the late 20ies...
Glenn R Posted December 3, 2005 Posted December 3, 2005 Nice little piece that Micha. I try to stick to one thing myself then see some little nugget like this and end up buying it!
Paul R Posted December 3, 2005 Posted December 3, 2005 I have not seen too many mounted in this manner! Nice cross!
Dave B Posted December 3, 2005 Posted December 3, 2005 Very nice ...lovely crisp cross with an unusual(to me anyway) mount!Dave
joe campbell Posted December 3, 2005 Posted December 3, 2005 my first time seeing this configuration, and what a pleasure!this is what i love about this addiction.i think it would take forever to get to"i've seen it all..."nice cross micha.joe
Tom Y Posted December 3, 2005 Posted December 3, 2005 Looks like a Saxon mount. I've seen similar on veterans' pieces but never on an EK.
Stogieman Posted December 5, 2005 Posted December 5, 2005 I agree with Tom... you'll see this unusual tri-folded mounting on many, many Saxon Veteran's Organization Service Medals.
Gary B Posted December 5, 2005 Posted December 5, 2005 Hi, Nice piece. I have one on the non combatant ribbon with the same shaped mounting. It reminds me of the pentagonal mounts the Russian medals are on.Gary BI agree with Tom... you'll see this unusual tri-folded mounting on many, many Saxon Veteran's Organization Service Medals.
