Deruelle
Many thanks! The first one -- which Friedrich Müller do you mean Christophe? What was his position in 1914? General Friedrich Müller was at the head of the 47 Landwehr Infanterie Brigade from October 1914 to June 1916. Christophe
Ulsterman
That picture of Josef Schwarz is fantastic!! I assume he was some sort of Bavarian Red Cross Administrator/Bigwig.
Guest Rick Research
The pre-Hindenburg Cross SA Oberführer is rather a puzzle. Unless that SHOULD be a 1935 "swords on Ring" Ernestine-Commander which he is quite improperly wearing as a wartime type it makes no sense at all. NOBODY received that grade as a Saxon officer during the war and had that miniscule and un-long-serviced combination of medal bar awards. WRONG neck Order and PARTIAL medal bar awards? :speechless1:
