militaria0815 Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 In my eyes a very unique medal bar, I appreciate any idea to identify the bearer. Thanks in advance!
Claudio Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Wow! Impressive bar... the HHOX and the BMVO3x look made of Gold! No Centennial medal, strange.... Do you have a picture of the back?
militaria0815 Posted July 23, 2012 Author Posted July 23, 2012 Right, both are in solid gold, no pic of the back. Not my bar so far, I hope I'll get it some day.
Paul C Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 I did a check and no match. Most of the men who had the HOH3x and the BMV3x also had at least the RAO4. The three awards at the end of the bar are of no help since the award rolls do not exists.
Homerjey Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 Hello, a wonderful medal claps!!!!!! I think, the men is carreing the RAO and KO on neck:-) Thomas
saschaw Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 (edited) I think, the men is carreing the RAO and KO on neck:-) A RAO2 makes him at least a Generalmajor, which does not fit the grade of the Bavarian MVO... PS: unless the Bavarian is actually a knight's cross 1st class, awarded for China! militaria0815, might it be an old one?! Edited July 24, 2012 by saschaw
