Hello Claudius, the agraffe is hallmarked with J.L. and 950 so an Jacob Leser piece and the medaillons are made from gold. Regards Andreas

dedehansen Posted February 9, 2015 Author Posted February 9, 2015 Pierce, this typ was originally issued for the Spanish Civil War, but I´ve seen one with an engraving from 1942 on the back. I think they have made more from them as needed in the SCW so thus were awarded in WW 2 too Andreas

Is it possible to find NCO´s there ? I´m looking for an bavarian Vicefeldwebel Johann Franz Ruckert born October 3rd 1876 at Ochsenfurt. All I know that he was in China and got the MVK, later was awarded the lifesaving medal and served in WW 1. Kind regards Andreas

With the rank of sergeant he got his awards in China. In the first WW he got the EK2. His last rank was Feldwebel-Leutnant. Do you have a picture of him? regards Andreas
