aussiesoldier Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 Director Peter Jackson points out a multi-colored cannon used during the early days of the World War I at the museum exhibition he has created on Friday, April 17, 2015, in Wellington, New Zealand. The artillery piece behind Jackson. Is it not a rail gun captured during the August-Sept, 1918 Offensive?
dond Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 PJ should do a series of WW1 movies. That would spark public interest.

gongz Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 Visited recently ! Incredible !.....and I've seen a lot of museums in my time. Soooooo moving.....and the public interest is unbelievable, especially with the young. It's worth visiting just for the colourised photos - I thought they would be pretty bad - I should have known better - PJ does NOTHING by halves. They really are works of art....and so realistic - a whole new insight to WW IDo not miss it.Graeme
ccj Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 I'd love to visit but I can't. It would be wonderful to see photos.
