Berlinerbummel
A friend of mine purchased a nine-place trapezoid several yours ago and recently asked me to help him ID the ribbons. At first glance I thought it might date to 1872 but it does not have the Franco-Prussian War ribbon. I need some help gentlemen. I think I have half of them figured out but the last few are a mystery. I attach a photograph. Edited November 3, 2016 by Berlinerbummel
dedehansen
Hi, my thoughts: - Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse - Sachsen Ehrenkreuz mit Schwertern - Militärehrenzeichen 2. Klasse - Kreuz für Kriegshilfe - Preußen allgemeines Ehrenzeichen - Braunschweig Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse - Schaumburg - Lippe Kreuz für treue Dienste or Dienstauszeichnung 2.Klasse (old version ) depends if there is a small white centre strip or not - Kolonialdenkmünze - Kolonialauszeichnung 2. Klasse Kind regards Andreas Edited November 3, 2016 by dedehansen

Hi Gents, I think we are talking about a post 1918 NCO trapezoid ribbon bar, so a red eagle order isn´t possible. The last ribbon is definitely a Kolonialauszeichnung ( Löwenorden ) and not a elephant order. Cheers Andreas

VtwinVince
Yes please, are there hooks on this one? Pretty unusual to find a trapetz like this so late.
ccj
Interesting bar and attractive. I didn't realize people ordered trap bars after around 1915
