BalkanCollector Posted May 26, 2019 Posted May 26, 2019 I'd like to share some of the stuff I've seen in Macedonia and some of the stuff which I've bought in some of the local antique shops. NI Institute and Museum Bitola. There's a part of the museum which is dedicated to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. Firstly here are some of his uniforms. I doubt that those are actually his uniforms but still nice to see. I'd appreciate more knowledgeable members for futher information because I don't know much about them.
BalkanCollector Posted May 26, 2019 Author Posted May 26, 2019 Other stuff from the Great War. Rifle, revolver, sabres, shells etc. Unfortunately I don't know names since it's not my area.
BalkanCollector Posted May 27, 2019 Author Posted May 27, 2019 WW2 Yugoslav Partisan Titovka cap Bayonet
BalkanCollector Posted May 27, 2019 Author Posted May 27, 2019 (edited) People's Heroes of Yugoslavia from Bitola. Three women! Edited May 27, 2019 by BalkanCollector
BalkanCollector Posted May 27, 2019 Author Posted May 27, 2019 Holocaust Memorial Center for the Jews of Macedonia, Skopje Panzer uniform of the Fallschirm-Panzer-Division 1. Hermann Göring
BalkanCollector Posted May 27, 2019 Author Posted May 27, 2019 The last but not least, bought in an antique shop in Skopje. Yugoslav Major-General Svetozar Vukmanović "Tempo", giving a speech in Kumanovo, Macedonia in 1945. He's wearing a Yugoslav Order of the Partisan Star 1st class, Partisan Commemorative award of 1941 and a Soviet Order of Kutuzov 1st class. I'm really glad, I've found this gem!

The museum is actually located in the same building where the Military Academy of Monastir was situated.
BalkanCollector Posted May 30, 2019 Author Posted May 30, 2019 One more thing On 27/05/2019 at 17:54, BalkanCollector said: The last but not least, bought in an antique shop in Skopje. I've actually forgot another thing I've bought in another antique shop in Skopje so here it is. Member's card of the People's Front of Macedonia. Now I have three of those cards, another two being that of the People's Front of Croatia.
BalkanCollector Posted May 30, 2019 Author Posted May 30, 2019 Also, there were three of these little postal stamps inside the booklet.
Egorka Posted May 30, 2019 Posted May 30, 2019 I am quite sure these are not postal stamps. These were used to mark that the membership fee has been payed. Like a receipt.

Thank you for the input!
