A great and large group photograph with soldiers and officers from the Red Army. In the 3rd row we have in the center a Hero of the Soviet Union ((not identified yet). Reverse is blank.

I wonder what happened with this guy's medal.

The probably lost the medal during the battle. It took some time to get a duplicate from the DOD.

I got several photographs in which service members wear ribbons/medals like that. I need to find one photograph from my collection, in which a sapper is wearing his 3/4 destroyed Order of the Red Star.

Does anyone here know the name of the Soviet Army General in this photo? Seems He’s wearing the Hero of the Soviet Union medal

the most "raisin" at the bottom right is Bulgarian bravery

Yes, I noticed the Officer on the very right of the bottom raw is wearing 4th Class 2nd Grade of the Bulgarian Order for Bravery,

I wonder whether this photo is some kind of reunion , because all officers have very close ranks

Apart from couple of Majors no highest ranks I can see
