laurentius
Dossenbach seems to have a third award on this ribbonbar which does not correspond with the list given by Deutschritter. The ribbon seems to be red-ish, although these old black-and-white pictures can be deceiving. Kind regards, Laurentius
David M
Cant really make out if the X on 3 are swords or sables. So it could either be Reuss or Ottoman Edited September 16, 2021 by David M

Dave Danner
Dossenbach was a native Badener. The ribbon is for the Ritterkreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwertern of the Order of the Zähringen Lion, awarded on 1.6.1915.
Deutschritter
Thank you, Gentlemen! I also had a problem with the Militärverdienstkreuz (Mecklenburg) ... until I found out, he was a Einjährig-Freiwilliger with the Großherzoglich Mecklenburgisches Füsilier-Regiment „Kaiser Wilhelm“ Nr. 90. I wonder, if he could choose and wanted to get away from home for some time?
