Retired Pilot Badge Question

Does anyone know if Juncker made retired pilot badges? I’ve seen one with convincing details and marks but don’t remember ever seeing one before? Thanks!

Are you asking about the Fliers Commemorative Badge? If so they made at least three different types. Getting the old itch back?

They did indeed, I have an example with the reverse hardware removed for sewing on to the tunic.

What do you think of this mark? Looks legit to me

I’m unsure on the engraving but the rest of the badge looks right

Unusual text, but who would fake this sentence / engrave it later?

Good question, but the style of engraving is certainly not of the period.

So everybody think this badge is ok? Isn’t it another common fake judging by for instance the shape of crown well?

The normal word for pensioner is "Rentner". Although "Pensionär" isn't necessarily wrong, just less used, I think.

After seeing these images I have doubts about the entire badge. The shape of the wreath is weird, amongst other things.

The half moon shaped hinge well is generally not accepted as correct for Juncker badges.

That's true, The hallmarks are the most convincing aspect of this badge.

Here is an accepted Juncker example.

For some reason the MM has been ground away leaving only the crescent and 800. I’ve seen this quite a few times on these commemorative Junckers and not sure why . Several of my examples are like this .
