IVB Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 Hello! This is photo of Mukarram Turgunbaeva (1913-1978), people's actress of UzSSR and USSR:And this is Angola medal she was awarded:Please help to identify this medal.
Bob Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 Another one of these... but with inscription on the reverse:2 ANPROCL FAPLA (or FALLA?)1-8-74/76Would like to get a ribbin to make the appropriate suspension for this award. The ribbon should be plain green and fit a typical soviet steel suspension. Any idea where these can be obtained?
Chris Boonzaier Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 FAPLA sounds right. It is for the 2nd anniversary of FAPLA.See here...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FAPLA
Bob Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 Yep - makes senseThese Angolan medals certainly are difficult to find.
