Simon F Posted May 22, 2005 Posted May 22, 2005 (edited) Hi I recently purchased a small group of Stuka photos from (dare I say it) ebay. They are all original and have the same characteristics of having been removed from the same album however I am a little unsure of this picture which seems to have a different canopy to any other Stuka pictures I have for reference. I realise this may be a long shot but any help is greatly appreciated in identifying the aircraft type. Thanks. Edited May 22, 2005 by devonrex2003
Gene Posted May 22, 2005 Posted May 22, 2005 (edited) I'll have to look at my books for reference, but it may be a Henschel Edited May 22, 2005 by Gene
Mike Dunn Posted May 22, 2005 Posted May 22, 2005 Great photo! But I do believe you should stay off ebay and leave those kind of photos for me! Remember-there is really nothing on ebay! LOL Mike
Simon F Posted May 23, 2005 Author Posted May 23, 2005 (edited) Thanks Mike I will try to remember those words of wisdom and stay well awayfrom them. here are some more of them a bargain at?35 Edited May 23, 2005 by devonrex2003
J Temple-West Posted May 25, 2005 Posted May 25, 2005 With that angled cross-member I'd say it's a Messerschmitt Bf 109 b..
Simon F Posted May 25, 2005 Author Posted May 25, 2005 Many thanks for the help guys, thanks for hooking the pic out John wub.gif
Laurence Strong Posted May 25, 2005 Posted May 25, 2005 109. The added on part to the windsheild is bullit proof/armoured glasss
Sal Williams Posted June 19, 2005 Posted June 19, 2005 (edited) Definitly a 109! i have learned a lot about these babys since i started doing models :speechless-smiley-004: jumping :speechless-smiley-004:But I would say the "E" series Edited June 19, 2005 by Sal Williams
Marcus H Posted September 5, 2005 Posted September 5, 2005 More than likely an E series, not an early one because this isn't the early style canopy but the later type, the E series had both though.KrMarcus
