thanks guys! - Nope...the figurines simply sit on "marble candle holders" (courtesy of pier one), high up on bookshelves in my study...amongst my medals and book collection. I painted these figures about 10 years ago, while working shift hours in the Pentagon.. I keep them clean my lightly blowing compressed air on them. I used acrylics mixed with enamel... only way to take the shine out of the cloth on the uniforms. Key is, I was SINGLE at the time when I painted these. My wife is trying to get me back into painting figurines, but we have 4 boys (all under the age of 11). She doesn't understand that, when I get in a rythm, I don't like to stop painting! I used to go for anywhere from 4 to 8 hours at a time. You can't do that with my current army!! Anyway...attaching one more this evening... a Zulu war scene. regards, Dan
