The Borisov Group is mine... on sale via consignment. I purchased this group during the "happy time" ... back in the late 90s. The group photo with Batov was part of the original offering, but the very nice original (profile) photo actually came back with the research! It is one of my nicest groups... but I am narrowing down my collection, and decided to part with it. Dan

He is still buying high end stuff and selling it WITHOUT putting on the website...selling to preferred buyers who have a wishlist. How do I know? ...he has done that for me in the past (as a buyer)...and as a seller, he recently (but not TOO recently) purchased some nice items from me, and NONE of it made posting. I strongly believed he moved it to a preferred customer directly.. that's my take. All that being said, I think supply and demand is still "limiting" in the western hemisphere... and I don't know to what degree IM is involved in the eastern European trade, in order to maintain a VIABLE business. So, I can't say with confidence he will be around forever. Dan

thanks guys! - Nope...the figurines simply sit on "marble candle holders" (courtesy of pier one), high up on bookshelves in my study...amongst my medals and book collection. I painted these figures about 10 years ago, while working shift hours in the Pentagon.. I keep them clean my lightly blowing compressed air on them. I used acrylics mixed with enamel... only way to take the shine out of the cloth on the uniforms. Key is, I was SINGLE at the time when I painted these. My wife is trying to get me back into painting figurines, but we have 4 boys (all under the age of 11). She doesn't understand that, when I get in a rythm, I don't like to stop painting! I used to go for anywhere from 4 to 8 hours at a time. You can't do that with my current army!! Anyway...attaching one more this evening... a Zulu war scene. regards, Dan
