    1. Here's an odd one you don't often see. It was sewn into the uniforms that were to be used as prop's in the making of NVA training films etc.
    2. Oh dear these fake boxes............... Only joking they're lovely and in excellent condition Darrel !
    3. A Political Prisoner Cross, again comes with a device and there is a 'realeased political prisoner' medal too.
    4. Commerative medal of the Czech army 'abroad', I think this may be an service recognition type medal instituted in 1943 I've read and it does come with devices denoting where the duration of service was, UK etc
    5. A WW2 War Cross of sorts, a variation for Volunteers perhaps.........Ed you'll know all these I'll bet.
    6. Not really Commie era though these: A medal for conscrpition one reference says, but I don't recall it being that.
    7. Here are some of mine I regret I can't remember all the titles of the medals as I lost them in a 'crash' of computer. .Volunteers Cross
    8. As said before, this case certainly conforms and is genuine sure. Kr Marcus
    9. Hi Bill, I've fake verse genuine EK2 packet thread in mind too. I've been scanning a thing or two, I've got one on a deliberation and some past test results on the most 'famuos' (notorious) EK2 packet and then some examples of others, and with that sort of a compilation of the designations of the good larger style packets......only my provincial way of determination though. A sort of Marcus' rough guide if you can understand my diction and waffle Kr Marcus
    10. Combat Action Badge, not close.......I'm thinking Third Reich CCC's tut ! The CAB, featuring both a bayonet and grenade, may be awarded to any Soldier performing assigned duties in an area where hostile fire pay or imminent danger pay is authorized, who is personally present and actively engaging or being engaged by the enemy, and performing satisfactorily in accordance with the prescribed rules of engagement, according to its authorizing language. Award is not limited by one?s branch or military occupational specialty. Not the most asthetic design, or quality materials used unlike past couterparts and certain periods.
    11. No extra's on the bar but this is the medal that Paul shows, these are difficult to get unless obtained in the States.
    12. Just noticed this one. Bill I have no contentions with the packet, as to date, there are no identified fakes with this EK 2 packet designation as such. Kr Marcus
    13. Hi Laurence, The Canadian's have some very nice cap badges, I see some close affiliation to alot of ours (Brits) Thats one smart Royal Canadian Army Medical cap badge, with mine I wore a cloth cherry backing, which we had to cut to shape and size and sew on the beret (or not, as it looked better not sewed so you could reshape your beret how you wanted it, other than for parades), on the No. 1 peaked hat of course the band was cherry. The reason of course for the cherry backing (and I like the Canadian thought and style on this) which you all are probably aware of, is out of the three bars to the VC the RAMC has two. I don't remember the RCAMC cap badge being like this back in 1999 though, I had a Canadian (I keep going to write Canuck LOL) medic attached to me in Pristina. Is it new new, or been on issue for a while ? I like it alot. Kr Marcus
    14. The next time I go a stay with Skip (WAF) in Berlin I'll take some pic's of whats left of the horesy 'HQ', stables, yard and buildings, it's right next to the Olympic Stadium. Paul if your interested I saw a silver box for one like mine on a German dealers site ! One of the 'W' dealers. Tony, does your wife still ride, mine does, and I never see her.......in fact I'd the thing !!
    15. This is my one Rich: http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=2193 There once on the WAF was some age deterination to a degree via the Towers and Lions on the centre part and the differences, makers I assume also taken into account ? Angel Farre on the WAF will perhaps be able to deliberate further on that I think ?
    16. And this one in the group, the little medal shown here was attached to the card, but the document relates to the medal in the top of the picture above.
    17. I've some doc's, I.D's, and citations in a Bulgarian group. I won;t show the I.D's as they of no interest really. I have the awards descriptions some where and some info on the guy, I'll redit and produce that later.
    18. Ed, Darrel, I couldn't agree more with you guys, it's a sad premise in collecting. The Third Reich realm is abundant with such !! Which is why as you Darrel I don't get all excited about them half the time. Kr Marcus
