Here are my two contributions to the Crown and Swords catalogue. In addition, if you look carefully at the EKII on the second bar you will see it has a mini first form spange.
Although the medal is marked "Losch" I doubt it is worth $1250 nor do I believe the Police LS is valued at $200. It is dangerous to try and publish a "price guide" even with good data. Seems the only price guide that "stuck" is the Kelley Blue Book for cars but there is a tremendous amount of sales data available for that effort. There is no such data base for medals, medal bars and ribbon bars. Would it be worth our time to try and start one here?
OK, guys, for the keys to a new Porsche Boxster can you name the ribbon in the middle of the bar? The forum lead and moderator are both disqualified having suffered through this already! animal :cat-smiley-025:
St. Michael doesn't make the cut. The rare bird here and an ultra rare bird at that is the Bavarian Politzei 20 Year Long Service Cross. This is the bar that got me started on the slippery slope thanks to Stogieman...
...and a damn poor job it was! Still, in fairness to our British cousins urban renewal doctrine of the time was not well developed. The burning followed the track meet at Blandensburg.
