    1. Just my opinion but I think when it comes to early FJ badges Deumer quality is unequaled.
    2. "...just another nice bar." I'd maybe rate it a high nice maybe even a low wonderful! jumping I wish you both luck in nailing down the Seitz connection.
    3. My one and only Austrian medal bar and matching ribbon bar on a familiar background.
    4. This came via my "connection" and is something very special. This belonged to an officer candidate and later leutnant of the 13th Jager Regt. who got recycled for WWII as probable Hauptman and logged some more combat time. No desk for this warrior. The self-proclaimed "good twin" and fearless forum leader has narrowed down to ten lieutenants that cannot be excluded but more time and information is needed. I really like this bar! jumping animal :cat-smiley-025:
    5. Can't miss an Assman with that wide-eyed eagle! Just my opinion but the real quality maker for this badge is not Juncker but whoever the maker was for the ball-hinge varient first, Gustav Brehmer second and Juncker third. All in buntmetal of course. Having cast down the gauntlet I will now depart...
    6. Very interesting photo. I'm curious about what appear to be bull barrels or some sort of barrel or muzzle cover...Anybody have any insights? (No pun intended)
    7. Gothic is tough enough in print but when it is part of a die some letters can be impossible. At least I find it so. Well beyound my humble trifocals! I can't guess at a several letters so I will just post three different closeups for your perusal. The award was described to me as a Merit Decoration of the Thuringian State Association of the Red Cross 1st Level. It is maker marked on the reverse with the name R. Conrad, Weimar.
    8. [attachmentid=2892]What makes this bar interesting is the scarce Silver Merit Cross to the White Falcon Order.
    9. Possibly, but the most learned opinion would come from the "evil twin" ( a subtle attempt to get the evil one to blow his cover...) Frankly, I am never sure which one it is.
    10. Nice bars gentlemen. Think I have one or two TR bars the rest are Imperial.
    11. Interesting bars Rick. I have one Finnish award on a medal bar but none on a ribbon bar. Stogieman, are you watching??
