    1. Hi, The following photo shows OSA Johannes Friedrich. This one does not belong to me, I don't know who has it, so if he does not want to see it here, let me know and I will take it off. Christophe
    2. Hi Dansson, Thanks for your words. For information this ribbon bar belonged to Wachtmeister Richard Steiner. If one day you want to sell your medal bar don't hesitate to pm me. Christophe
    3. Hi Thanks for your comments @Paul, I have found the date in the Saxon Militär Wochenblatt. The only problem is that in May 1915 a decree says that all the foreigns medals will not appeared in the MVB like there are too much orders and medals. It's too bad for the research. Christophe
    4. Hi everybody, This is an old topic but recently I have found the date of the RE3X. Lt Hartung received this cross from Reuß on 10 February 1915. Christophe
    5. Hi Even if it is a 1920 PlM, it is a nice exemplar. And what about the ribbon, a pure wartime or postwar ribbon ? Christophe

    8. Hi I agree with Heiko. It's like the BV3 device. It's first time I see red in the green laurel. And for me the worst are the back of the ribbon bars. It's seem to be made after WW2. Sorry
    9. Hi I have now a "famous chest" of Deißner's medals. The first photo is with boxes and paper and the second without. Enjoy Christophe
    10. Thanks for your comments guys. It's very hard to find such good pieces to this day. So I'm proud with them.
    11. Hi everybody, Here is my new ribbon bar from an Officer of the Jäger Btn Nr. 13. I showit here with EK1, RK and paar of Oblt Shoulderboards. This ribbon bar come with the trapezoidal medal bar (without medals). I have found only two names (maybe more) of officers who had the same combo on the ribbon bar : Lt Paul Hederich who died in 1916 Oblt Georg Graf Vitzthum von Eckstädt who died in 1945. Christophe and now with trapezoidal medal bar
    12. Hi everybody, It's an old topic, but recently I have taken photos of my collection. Here is a "famous chest photo of Heygendorff's medals. Chirstophe
    13. Hi Nice frackspange. Can you tell me if there is hallmark on saxon medals please ? Thanks Christophe
    14. I have a doubt, like there is no Hindenburg cross on the bar so he probably died before 1934. Christophe
    15. HI Nicolas, The last ribbon of your 7th ribbon bar is not for the Schwarzburg cross. Here is one peacetime Schwarzburg honor ribbon on a saxon ribbon bar Christophe
    16. Hi, Probably he was very proud of this cross and decided to wear it ahead another medals. Even if there is regulation, a lot of officers has chosen to wear their medals like they wanted. IMO Christophe
    17. Hi, An old topic but recently I was lucky enough to buy a big ribbon bar which belonged to Oberstleutnant Gerog Hoffmann. Christophe It's interesting to note that only 8 Saxon officers received the WK3XmL. A very rare crosses indeed
    18. Now you have to see the ribbon bar under blacklight to see if the ribbons are ok Here is one ribbon bar with original ribbons
    19. Hi, on this ribbon bar you should see the 4th ribbon ahead the Thrid. The Merit order is higher than Albert Order. And I don't like to see crosses on the BrK2. Christophe
