    1. Hello westfale, I apologize for this late response to your request. Here is the reverse of post #367, Again, please forgive this late reply. Best wishes, Wild Card
    2. Thank you rujab. I imagine that this is a one of a kind. Things like this are real fun. Westfale, per your request, here is the reverse. Being made by Hemmerle opens the possibility that it was made for a Bavarian... assuming that there was at least one Bavarian recipient. Either way, I doubt that we will ever know for sure who it belonged to. While we’re at it, here is another little Württemberger who is home for a couple of days - Regards, Wild Card
    3. Another one that has been posted before; but as near as I can tell, not here.
    4. Hello rujab, The miniature shown in post #359 is to a Prussian Hohenzollern House Order collar. In this case, it is represented by a miniature version of one of the collar links, a full sized photo of which is shown below. Thank you for asking, Wild Card
    5. Gentlemen, Since we have this thread up and running again, I've brought some little fellows home to have their pictures taken -
    6. Hello Warpath, This is a beautiful piece to be sure, and of excellent craftsmanship. While not an official badge, it could very well be a specially made gift of some sort. You might run it by Andre Husken, he has a lot of experience with things like this. Regards, Wild Card

Spasm, All of the appropriate adjectives have been taken, so I will have to echo - Amazing, incredible, outstanding... Please keep us updated on this work. Sincerely, Wild Card
    8. Hello Soviet 1000, I would say that this is not as simple a question as it appears. While a group to a sniper has a certain appeal over many other categories, it goes far beyond that. 1. What are the awards? 2. What were they awarded for and when? 3. Are there any significant types or variations among them? 4. What documentation is included? All of these factors, and some that I have probably left out, will determine value. Regards, Wild Card
    9. Speaking of (Imperial German) fakes. Caution! This may make your teeth hurt - http://princefrederic.com/joomla-us/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=86&Itemid=123
    10. Hello redeagleorder, I cannot offer any advice with regard to the Southwest Africa medal or it’s bars; but I will say that, in my opinion, absent any markings that might prove otherwise, the Military Merit Cross is a copy. Regards, Wild Card
    11. The lack of a Hohenzollern crest is curious, to say the least. Without it, all we have is a basic Prussian eagle. What purpose does it serve, other than a simple patriotic “pin” of some sort? As I said, I’ve never seen one like this before; and marked, as it is, to Godet... strange, for sure.
    12. Well Peter J, what you have there is a nice little mini to the above decoration. Of course, you realize that it is on an incorrect ribbon, but what, to me, is more important is it's plain reverse with the Godet mark. Never seen one like this before - very nice!
