    2. Hi Claudio! Thanks for your quick and interesting reply. I will check this out when I get home tonight. I have some other recipient of the SMLO as well, so maybe I will have a good evening spent :-) David
    3. Glenn thanks so much for the addition. Another one decorated with the Wilhelmsorder identified :-) regards David
    4. Goodmorning Could one find out a date to the awards of the Sardinian and later Italian Order of Sankt Moriz und Lazarus? Where to find such a date? Not many of the Calendario di corte are online to be found.... I am especially looking for a date between 1850 and 1870. Thanks for your reply regards David David
    5. Hi I have been looking for the firstname of a prussian civil servant, of whom I have the following details. Is it really impossible to find it? Or do I have to look somewhere else. Thanks for any help :-) regards David NN Leiss; 1854 Kanzleirath im Chiffrirbureau des Außenministeriums ; 1873 Geheimer Hofrath. ODM: 1857 PROA4; OFJ3; ITML3. Q.: KPS 1857; KPS 1873.
    6. Hi Komthur thanks for the information! I will have to look into these verànderungen a bit more, see if they are in complete series in any kind of library I can use. regards David
    7. Andy, I simply have no words ...and to think no-one even indexed these ...
    8. These are alle PROA3's, I looked through the STB's so I was able to give an estimation of the years. Please tell me if this works. If not, I would be more then happy to look through the Ordenlisten myself, do you know where to find them? The Schleife is not mentioned anywhere in the Staatshandbücher, so I cannot say if all or any of these have also received the 4th Class.
    9. Hi Andy, its quite a list in totall. What I'll do is I'll work on providing the name and an estimation on the time (year when it would first appear in the staatshandbuch of Hessen-Kassel) and then chronoligically present the list here, would that make the search some easier?
    10. Hi I was wondering: is it possible to find the dates for PROA3 class and lower for the 1840-1866 era? Where would I be able to find these dates? I would like to use them to complete the entries on the men decorated with the churhessian orders I am researching Thanks a lot regards David
    11. Ah I see, thanks! Could I also reuqest the entry on Eduard Kraus and August Frhr von Stetten?
    12. nothing out of experience, but just a very well meant congratulations on this stunning piece! Like the eagle too and I know the picture of the eagle can very a bare chick to this magnificent eagle
    13. Hi Dave thanks for your quick reply....yeah men like him did have an interesting career
    14. Hi I am looking for the exact date on an 'early' (as in pre imperial) award of this order to Albrecht v. Roon. It was in 1867, but I would like to know the exact date and maybe the reason why. thanks so much regards David
    15. Well these could maybe oneday be at least partially identified when the Lübeck rolls (which are transcribed) are finally published
    16. Hi I am looking for some data on two militairy officers from Sachsen-Meiningen who also stood in prussian militairy service: Ludwig Freiherr v. Türcke (Priesdorf Bd 7 S. 498 Nr 2434) Leonhard Theodor Lothar Freiherr von und zu Egloffstein (Priesdorf Bd 7 S. 481 Nr 2423) I am primarily interested in birthdate and place of birth, date of death and place of death and the ODM these men received. Amongst the ODM you will find the CHGL3, the reason for my interest in these men. As I already have a number of over 1000 individual knights, I will not take the complete career in my publication, but just the one from their first appearance in the Court and State handbook :-) Thanks a lot in advance regards
    17. Gladly volunteering for any kind of typing out there is to do :-)...please let me know/send me a PM or anything. I have the coming 3 weeks off , so I could do a lot now :-)
    18. Hi Rick Would it be possible to find out (if there is anything to find out on his brother as well?) I will post his career here, but I have hardly anything on his ODM. I simply cannot believe he just ended up with what I have on him. The DOA 1908/9 entry although under his name, is his brothers Louis': Georg Emil Theodor Müldner von Mülnheim (geboren Neuß a. Rh. 18.02.1873, gestorben Berlin 23.01.1940 kgl. preuss. Zentenarmedaille (27.03.1897), (figured this one out because he was in active service at the moment of award of this medal) kgl. preuss. Ritter des Eisernes Kreuzes I. Klasse, because he received the HHO3X kgl. preuss. Ritter des Eisernes Kreuzes II. Klasse, because he received the HHO3X kgl. preuß. So basically I would love to know more on this guys ODM. his archive was destroyed in WWII. So that cannot tell me much more. regards David
    19. Thanks Rick, thats great! Just to bad the other bunch he had will remain a mystery....I am guessing the MWB and the Staatanzeiger only showed prussian awards and not prussians who were awarded with foreign german decorations?
    20. I got the copies from his Wehrpass in the mail this afternoon and I cannot believe what I saw: he listed only his latest rank and date 17.01.17 Major und at his ODM the following: EK II und I, I was kinda expecting to see his complete and full list of both ODM and ranks and units.
