    1. So in the meantime some are done, some are underway. Anything new (rolls found or being worked on) maybe an update from Daniel K. on his rolls-traveling around Germany? Are there already new projects being worked on (Ulsterman) or interested people who would like to support or set up new projects? Please tell us in this thread.
    2. Hi CCJ Size doesn't matter! Furtermore, I would be really interested in anyone posting medal/ribbonbars in wear showing the L?H by senior officers. Would be a great addition to the info sofar!!
    3. Rick is right so mea culpa....I was just excited that I could finally show of with my own research I am not used to think as a buyer, since I never was or likely will be in the future.
    4. Von Malortie receives the Commanders Cross I Class of the House Order of the Golden Lion (Churhessen) 26.11.1845 This CHGL Order was renamed Wilhelmsorder in 1851. Von Malortie received the Grandcross of the House Order 05.06.1851. In my personal opinion it will be very unlikely to find any other persons with all of these 3 orders. However my research into the churhessian orders has not been completed yet, I am for 85% sure.
    5. Hi Wild Card What do your STB say on Ernst von Malortie? Could he be it?
    6. Well should it be genuine, it would be traceable just with my details on the CHWO and the Oak Crown (which I dont have)
    7. In my experience the date gives a reall hint to the why, for someone who takes the effort to really get into to detailed history but then again I am just David
    8. Hi That is great!!! I am sure Stijn will be able to give you more details, as he did the K, if I remeber correctly! regards David
    9. I am really curious what the corwn order looks like, not the ribbon, the stars aso....why: just because I dont know Thanks David
    10. Hi Mike the ON awards was from January 6th 1900. I sent you the original mail from Erik Muller again to your private mail address. BTW would his danish career record also give the data on the Chines double D order?

    12. Just one question more: I guess he qwould have worn his awards in a prussian way? So not on the triangel ribbons but the way we are used to see in another part of this forum. as far as his bulgarian awards are concerned, what would be the order in which to wear them?
    13. Thank you all for your kind help, teh awards found really look very interesting! regards David
    14. Thanks to both of you for checking and posting. Now I am only looking for the bulgarian air badge regards David
    15. Hi Ulsterman thanks, that would be great. I am really lookig forward seeing some of the specific awards my relative got for his war-action. He is the closest one in any theater for me, the rest of the family emigrated to Holland around 1875. Can hardly wait for the pics :-) thanks David
    16. Hi Tried that before, 'just' the orders, not the medals I am looking for. Thanks David
    17. Weel, it is something with Minen followed by either K, P, or R (yeah I know.....really helpfull
    18. Hi Steen that's right I am looking for Felix Nikolaevitsch Sumarokow-Elston's careerdetails (I did find him on wikipedia, but there just is not enough info) as well as his Orders and decorations, preferably with awarddate. as well as Generalmajor (last known rank about 1866) von Kanalossy-Lefler. regards and thanks in advance David
    19. Nr. 1 Magaz (=Magazin) Nr 2: Volks......frungsfragen
    20. Looks great!! Are there a lot of officers depicted? Just Generals or Batailloncommanders as well?
    21. Well I think he is not alone in that and personally feel that there should be more contact on these kind of projects (IMHO mainly via boards like these). So that we are not all doing the same thing in the few 60-80 years we have on this globe. (One of the reasons I choose to do pre 1866 orders and decorations of a country almost forgotten: there is simply nothing on the matter yet) Yeah, I know:
    22. Thanks! This partially fills a hole I had in the career of Georg Emil Theodor M?ldner von M?lnheim, the brother of the Aide-de-Camp to the Crownprince. From his obituary I have that he left his 220 Regiment around Christmas 1917, but his next entry was in May 1918. So know I have narrowed that down a bit!! Great info
    23. Hi Gents I am wondering are there any persons here who could help me out with the biographical data of a couple of russian court-officials (all pre 1871?). It involves a couple of General- and Fl?geladjutante of the Czar as well as 1 or 2 Stallmeisters, the last one mentioned around 1860. Please PM me, as this is a bit of topic I guess. Hope to hear from you David
    24. Hi Hardy Wow From Canada all the way to Karlsruhe! May I ask what your area of interest is there? I am actually looking for some documents depicting the full career of some baden officers. My problem is that they are mentioned in my data as early as 1853 and 1864. From the archival data on the link you send me below, I think they could have them, but I am not sure, one of them says started in 1821, right? I will post the names of the guys I am looking for soon regards David
