Don't think it's a 4 (S & L) due to the "Hump" where the suspension ring is attached to the cross. This was normally either Wachter & Lange or Juncker, although I'm not saying it's either at this stage as other also used this set-up. OK not much help I admit but I'm sure others more conversant will chip in regards Alex

Hi Jay, more than happy to concur with the comments made. I'm no expert so it could be an earlier 1960's version, the pin seems slightly shorter however than I would have expected IMHO for an early version although, not the same as those made as a collector's version. in the 80's/90's, which look like they fell out of a Christmas Cracker To answer your question, mine is as magnetic as they come. regards Alex K?

I would say late 70's early 80's. Early versions aka 50/60's tended to have pin and clasp arrangements similar to original wartime versions made from left over stock, later versions introduced the pin and clasp arrangement as yours regards Alex Heres my version for comparison. mine seems to have a longer pin.?

Hi Paul, I agree!! It seems that there are many more people who find this sort of thing both enjoyable and absorbing. In the end, as can be seen, there are some very talented members who try to bring "History back to life". Black and white images can be interesting, but when a full colour version "Hits you in the face", you suddenly realise that the subject lived their lives in full colour and not in shades of grey. I applaud all those who have contributed and hope they continue to do so. regards Alex

Hi Paul It really depends on what it is and the complexity as not all images lend themselves to colourisation, I have many examples which just "Don't work". If suitable I could do the odd request, you would need to post an image for me to tell. regards Alex

Thankyou, it was a bit of a challenge to try and capture all those gongs and ribbon bars in their truest natural colours.
