Gents, Here is another Cross in which I acquired today. Not sure how this Manufacturer "stacks up" on the the Rarity Stats however, I was long overdue on getting back into the swing of TR EKII purchases! Regards, Joel

Gent's, Went to the Lowell Miltiary Show today and speaking of which, didn't see Ulsterman or Rick. Where were you Guys? Well, hopefully next month we can regroup and talk about the acquisitions of the day. I happened upon this little Cross with the Frame halves made of Brass and stamped with a "square." None the less, I haven't previously owned one stamped with such and unknown Manufacturer before and welcome it's new home in my medal case. I love the crisp core this one exhibits as well! Regards, Joel

EK 1914 Another EK1 We
buellmeister replied to Steve campbell's topic in Germany: All Eras: The Iron Cross
Steve, Great addition to your collection. In regards to the rarity of finding a maker mark , "we" from what I've seen, isn't too difficult in the 2nd Class. Finding a 1st Class is a different story that needs to be told by the more experienced collector other than I. Regards, Joel -

Jens, Your collection is the standard in which we all strive for! Regards, Joel -
Kevin, I agree with your assessment. Probably a disgruntled second place recipient. LOL! Shoot, I have a German/English Dictionary on my PC and should have looked up the word, Kegel and put two and two together. Sorry guys for the false alarm. It really is an ornate piece. Would you Guys guess the timeline of when it was manufactured as in the late 1800's to turn of the Century? Heiko, thank you as well! Regards, Joel

The Luger by far has to be one the most timeless designed handguns that even to this day, are highly sought after and beautiful! Very Nice! Regards, Joel

Gentlemen, Just put a bid in as a shot in the dark on this little beauty and I won it. I find it to be one of the more unique medals I've ever had in my possession. Unfortunately, the front has been scraped and most of the lettering on the back has seen the same fate. I believe it to be a Military award however, I can't a find reference to it anywhere in my files. Have any of you seen one quite like this or know of it's origin? I look forward to hearing what "those in the know" have to say. Kind Regards, Joel
