I was able to acquire this beautiful Soviet Airborne flag, to accompany this uniform grouping: http://gmic.co.uk/index.php/topic/54054-soviet-airborne-service-tunic-and-beret-afghan-era/ The flag is HUGE and made from mutiple pieces, from wool.

This is the only stamp that I saw on the flag. I think it is dated 1981, per the stamp above. I will look to see if I missed something. Are there normally two stamps? Paul -

I have never seen the cloth on both sides either, and I have about 100 sets of bring backs. I do agree that the quality of the Trident reprodutions far exceed that of the originals. I would love to see an honest to god original Saddam rank bring back to use as a visual reference.
