    1. Thanks guys, Ed- You are right. It is very brassy. Most of the golden finish has worn off. Rick- It does make a good filler. I will keep mine for that reason, as there is no way I will ever be able to afford an original at todays prices.
    2. I have had this one since 1992. I was told that it was a copy that was for everyday wear. It seems to be made of brass with some of the gilt finish remaining. Any opinions? I bought it for 70 dollars fifteen years ago. As you can see, it is unnumbered. Regardless, it makes a great filler. Regards Paul
    3. That is a nice one Ricky!! I see that you were able to attend today. I think that Vietnamese medals are under appreciated today.
    4. I agree! With the great variety of maker marks, I can definitely see this as a very rewarding area for focus! Paul
    5. Thanks Ed. I thought that I was losing my mind, for a brief second. Peter, Thank you for posting this interesting story. It goes to show that there are truly good people to be found everywhere.
    6. This is a very interesting thread. Fascinating that they use the same ribbon bar for their wounded medal as we do for our Purple Heart.
    7. I wonder where my last post went...? Anyway, very interesting...

    11. That would a special medal to have. I dont think that I have ever seen one with a number so low. Another great grouping, Ed. I look forward to the day when Labor orders can be proficiently researched. Paul
    12. From the photos, I was thinking that it could be a KM Administrative Officer Eagle. Since it is green in color, is is definitely Heer. Regardless, it is a nice representative piece! Thanks for sharing it with us!
    13. What color is the background material... Black, Navy Blue, are Dark Green?
    14. That is a wonderful gift! Can you please post a larger scan? Paul

    18. Thanks for posting these, Bob. I really like these more the the Signal magazines. In one of the photos, the Commanding Officer has a Blood Order!
    19. That is a great chart. In the case of the General Staff officer, I noticed that they used the Army style litzen. Did they also use the carmine piped shoulder boards?
