    1. I have a simular patch on a police tunic here: http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?s=&showtopic=2...indpost&p=21401 I was told that it was for a security guard! Regards Paul
    2. Very interesting grouping Gerd!! You are right about the story overshadowing the actual item!! Thank you for this interesting thread!
    3. Thanks for the insight Gerd. I can hardly wait to place the request for research!!! I will post the results! Paul
    4. With Gerd's help, Order of the Red Banner Screw Back #68 994 is dated around mid 1943. I think that I will make a research request on this one!
    5. Thanks Gerd! So this one might well be worth the price of researching!?
    6. Ricky, How would you date the Order of the Red Banner Screw Back #68 994? Paul
    7. [Thank you Kevin! So this jacket was not out of line by having a 120 Euro price tag! It sounds like one that we dont come across all the time! Paul
    8. Is it true that when the ORB were screw back awards, they were still issued for valor only? I cannot wait until that book is released! Paul
    9. I actually have two that I would have researched... a screwback Order of the Red Banner and a second award Order of the Red Banner (with a 2).
    10. The detail in those busts are great! I would love to find a HG Bust at some point!
    11. Nice Major's boards Larry!!! Your collection is growing by leaps and bounds!!!
    12. Thanks Larry! I was getting ready to hit the books on that one! I figured that it had something to do with the career levels! Paul
    13. The Anhalt bar seems to be a rarity! I have not seen too many of these medals around! Beautiful bars!
    14. Thanks for posting closeups of the bars!!! The double Red Cross bar is impressive!
    15. Ed, I agree with you 100% In a sense, I am thinking that if my childern have no interest in my military back ground I will sell(or give away) all of my stuff when I am of "age". I had rather someone take care of these items than to have a grand child toss them out! Dave, Based upon all of those award citation folders, Chief Marshal of Aviation Koldunov had a lot of stuff! What are some of the highlights in this man's career? Paul
    16. To be honest, I have never before seen a trade badge like this one(In reference or in person). It could be a postwar Bundeswehr trade badge?
    17. Dave, Please post the other stuff as well! What is the date on his Order of the Red Banner? It would be awesome if you had his original medal citation somewhere in there?!
