    1. Hi Douglas! Thank you for the break down on your bar! My facination for WW1 awards is really growing as of late! What was the the Fredrich Cross Second Class awarded for? How rare are these? Best regards Paul
    2. I am new to the world of "Imperial". What was this medal awarded for? How high of a medal is this? Please forgive the silly questions. Best regards Paul

    4. A hero of Labor to a woman! Another great rarity here on this site!!! Please please please do show us more. How did she win this award? Paul
    5. That was the same problem I had until recently. I swore that I would never part with anything. Well... as a result of getting married soon, I have no extra funds to buy new things at this time. I have been coming across some really cool and rare items. The only way for me to get them was to sell of some of the items outside my primary fields of interest. Once I sold a few things... I realized it is kinda fun to watch what my items bring in. It is also a real plus to be able to get a few "once in a lifetime" items as well.
    6. Very nice grouping Edward. I have never seen such an early variation of this order with it's original documentation! Regards Paul
    7. Douglas, You have some great stuff! Very nice and rare piece!! I have never seen a better and more complete example! Best regards Paul
    8. So this was basically an extended (I would call two years in the field extended) combat service medal.?
    9. Thank you for the advice and information Roy! How much are you looking to pay for a bayonet? There have been quite a few on ebay lately between 150 and 220 dollars.
    10. Yep... I traded a Post Ban AR15 for the SVT40 I have today. All it came with is one period magazine. They bayonet I picked up a couple of years ago. I still need a cleaning rod What is the going pick for an SVT40 with Finnish Capture marks these days? Paul
    11. Hey Douglas, I see why you like it so much. I does hold a lot of charactor! What is the third cross/medal from the right? Best regards Paul
    12. Paul and Jens, Nice sets! Of all of the Imperial Crosses, the Brunswick cross is my favorite. What is the badge on your Brunswick Cross indicate, Jens? Regards Paul
    13. I would love to see that grouping!!! Please post it!! Thank you again for sharing your uniforms! Paul

    16. I read a couple of books on the Iron Cross a couple of years ago. I remember reading somewhere that noncombatants sometimes received the combatant version... for reasons unknown. But that leads me to another question... Why would this indiviual received the Hindenburg Cross without swords. Unless one of the medals on this bar is a manufactoring mistake! Best regards Paul
    17. My Guess is November 1918! Paul What does the winner get!!
    18. I know that a lot of you guys have some killer ribbon bars! I have seen a few! Lets post them!! Regards Paul
