    1. Thanks Mark, for your supportive comments. This stuff is sort of a passion for me.
    2. I would think that people would think that I was over 100 years old. lol I am thinking athat someone may have placed an eagle onto this perfectly nice bar, post war then removed it.
    3. Thanks guys. If what Andwwils states is the case, it looks as if he could have been a liason officer with the Luftschutz?
    4. Another fabulous addition!! How do you know that this medal is AAF?
    5. Thanks for the photo... It very would could be Bautruppen. Black and white photos are tricky!
    6. That is a great grouping. Do you have any clue to what his rank was?
    7. I love it too! It is amazing how under appreciated these pre 1900 bars are. I bet that less than 10% still exist today.
    8. Each entry is more amazing than the last!! Your tab collection is among the best I know of!
    9. I would have to hold the FD tabs in my hands to be sure. I am on the fence on these. However, the black tabs are most beautiful!!
    10. I have always loved seeing the red/brown bakelite. I have a P38 with the same material. Beautiful bayonet!
    11. I would guess it to be an officer's insignia. What color is the backing? Black or dark green?
    12. Very nice find Chris! Did you find this at a flea market?
    13. It looks like I might be heading back in 2009, for my 3rd as well... be safe!
    14. Ahh... thanks for explaining this to me, Kevin. The only beret I have is an orange paratrooper.
    15. Yes, I was a regular customer of Igor's back in the early 90s. He has always prided himself on the product and service he offers. I have always enjoyed doing business with him. He always took the time to educate and answer questions.
    16. I love the Bau/Pioneer/RLM tabs. Can you make a closeup of the FD tabs, where the piping is attached? I just want to see the stitching technique used to attach the piping to the tabs.
    17. Great photo documentation of your time!! It seems like you really bonded well with the locals. The people I met over there seemed to be the nicest people I have ever met.
    18. I see I have to say that the initial bar posted is the best looking NC 1914 bar I have seen. It was definitely protected over the years.
    19. Hmmmm buy a house or a grouping... decisions decisions. Seriously significant groupings, but my God!! I wonder what museum these came out of?
    20. That is a beauty! Perhaps it belonged to the same person who had this one!!
    21. It has been moved!! Very nice Colanni! Any indicators of a trade badge on the sleeve?
