    1. landsknechte, Thank you! That poor bar should not be neglected like that! I know someone who would give it a nice loving home! Here is the one and only ribbon bar I have with an NC EK Ribbon. (Same one that I posted in the TR section).
    2. Paul! I will have to switch postmen! Nice examples! Jason and Jens! Beautiful bars!
    3. Ronny, As Gary stated, your tab is a very nice original! Laurence, From the back, the flak tabs you posted look pretty convincing. The overall picture quality is horrible! The gulls in the black set are definately lacking in detail and overall quality. They do not look like any originals I have ever seen. The gulls on both sets of arty tabs look pretty good(from what I can tell from the picture quality)! Are these being sold as original and are they from the same seller? Maybe there is something up with their camera? I wonder why the vendor did not send the pics of the reverse side on the black tabs for comparison? Gary, I would love to see those embroidered EM tabs(and perhaps have them too!)!! Regards Paul
    4. Very nice! What is the last ribbon on that bar? Paul
    5. The only simularity I see is in the hinge and catch... is that what you were referring to, Bob? Are there other common traits? Paul
    6. Very nice Ralph! I am definately envious! Do those bars you have in #24 come from the same veteran?
    7. Laurence, You are building one heck of a nice shoulder board collection. The musician and Stasi boards are stunning! Paul
    8. That Engineer tab set is a very sharp!! I remember when Mike was selling his collection. Unfortunately, I was not in the shadow of the cash gods at the time
    9. Jos. Thank you for your thoughts and reply. I am sometimes too quick to judge... especially on things are are outside of the norm! You are absolutely correct in stating that things outside the norm have an equal chance of being real. Example being... Here is a period example of what I believe to be a completely tailor made tab. It is one of my more interesting pieces!
    10. Hi Laurence, Thank you for posting these "treasures"! You are right... the flak tabs do not look half bad at all! Can you request a rear shot from the vendor? Regards Paul
    11. I love it! Strange fade pattern on the police medal though! Is the partwith the police emblem a different piece of ribbon sewn onto the bar? Regards Paul
    12. Darn it! I missed the opportunity! Is this the normal "rate" for this medal? I am intrigued by this bar as it belongs to one of the few people who were in the Freikorps without WW1 service! I have not seen too many like this. Regards Paul
    13. Chet, I am only now finding this thread. From what I can see, a nice example too! From all that I have read(I dont remember the source), the only option could be for a doorman and/or elevator operators for Luftwaffe command buildings in Berlin. This is the first example of such an armband I have ever seen!!! Very nice(and desireable...by me anyway)!! My guess is that I will not see another one any time soon(if ever). Thank you for posting it!
    14. Haynau, Your explaination is perfect! Are these very expensive to obtain? If anyone out there has any pics of the various classes, please post them! Thank you again! Regards Paul
    15. I have just purchased this bar from Stogieman. My questions are? What is the award criteria for this medal? Was this medal discontinued upon the introduction of the Hindenburg Cross? How many were issued? If someone has a pic of this medal, please post it. I would also like to see any other medal or ribbon bars that carry this medal. Paul
    16. Mike, How big is your citation? Here is mine: Edit Whoops... It is not LW! I am sorry about that!
    17. I love how your crosses are displayed... first and second classes together! Also, I your noncombattant case is
    18. I dunno Larry... I think it could be the whole "respect thy elders" thing! LOL Ralph, Very nice EM patch. Although I am not experienced enough to make a definative comment on breast eagles, I feel that yours are beautiful originals. Regards Paul
