    1. I want to make one exception to post an ongoing auction of a ribbon bar because this one belongs to the full size bar auctioned earlier this month, broken up and listed by the same seller. If anyone here bought the big bar please don't miss the chance of completing the group.
    2. All medals and ribbons on that Colonial bar look fine to me, the KO4x seems to have some parts of the swords repaired so both screwed and soldered sword parts are visible. The elephant badge pinned on Afrika colonial medal ribbon is certainly unusual but makes sense, IMO not necessarily a bad sign, it would be a bold move and require some imagination for an ordinary faker to do so. Same for the KO4X on white ribbon combination. Another thing I particularly like on this bar is the double rosette ribbon folding, consistent quality and finely made. Only thing I don't like is the look of the catch, wired type with rough cut, but not necessarily a deal breaker IMO.
    3. .... .... ..... ...... ...... A named pilot grouping came with a soldier pass and FAI license!!!!!!! sold for a stealing price.
    4. Beautiful type A 1870EK2 sold for 704EUR in Nov. .... .... Beautiful medical officer bar from colonial era ..... Cased near mint MVO4. ..... .....
    5. There're plenty of good stuffs on ebay and I'm pretty sure many of us are interested in buying, maybe it's better to post them after the auction ends just to avoid ruining anyone's purchasing plan.
    6. Yepp, here is the compete photo. Thank you CreyC, thank you Uwe for help.
    7. Wonderful group, congratulations! The link is to a wrong person, it linked to Gunther Plüschow.
    8. My gut tells me it’s an Austrian faker bar, a photo of reverse will tell.
    9. Kriegsverdienstkreuz 1915 from Reuß, part of it since the rim of oak leaves are missing. https://www.ehrenzeichen-orden.de/deutsche-staaten/kriegsverdienstkreuz-1915-steckkreuz.html
    10. Thanks for the additional photos, the badge is unfortunately a fake.
    11. Can you show a complete shut of the reverse? And the side of the eagle to see if it’s one piece or soldered.
    12. So everybody think this badge is ok? Isn’t it another common fake judging by for instance the shape of crown well?
    13. IMO it’s a fake, the cross shows typical flaws from casting at several spots.
    14. Yes its a common fake, you can find them regularly on eBay.
    15. The last bar is one of the Schrägstich fakes. The first bar doesn't look legit to me, he has several other bars in offering, all with sloppy assembly and mixed with new and old ribbon, all medals seem to be original though. Here is one of his, see different wear of the two EK ribbons, and different ribbon folding in the back. Another one from him, note the different wear on the ribbons. The MVO ribbons look like repro ones with smooth boarder.
